ABOUT

Becoming Better People Through Baseball

Bay Area Express baseball was founded by MLB pitcher Chuck McElroy.  We currently have teams from 8-18u.  All coaches in the organization have experience from playing at the college, minor league, or major league level.  Express' main goal is to teach young men the love of baseball by building foundational skills, having a positive attitude, and being a team player.  We also believe in teaching our players to become young men through baseball.  They will learn lessons in dedication, accountability, respect, and self growth.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Player’s Code of Conduct and Player Commitment

  • Listen to and respect the coaches’ authority at all times. Failure to do so may result in benching or suspension from the team.

  • Accept the coaches’ decision regarding playing position and playing time. Changes to offensive or defensive positions and/or the amount of playing time, should be discussed privately with

    coaches outside of game time.

accepted as final. No player should argue a call or judgment - only coaches, as this is part of their

    job.

absence with their coaches prior to the practice. Frequent, unexpected missed practices may result in benching, suspension from the team, or removal from the organization.

  • Understand coaches may impose additional rules, guidelines and/or policies required to follow.
